Have you ever wondered who’s in charge of New York City’s dog runs? If so, you’re not alone. As a dog owner in Brooklyn and a newcomer to the city, I asked the same question. As a journalism student at NYU, I sought out the answer. After speaking at length with the community, it turns out the city’s dog runs produce more questions than answers.

So, who is responsible for maintaining NYC dog runs?
